About Department -
Hindi is our National and Official language. Hindi is not only mother tongue of majority of Indians but is also used by the Central Government as official language. A large amount of literature is available in Hindi which is rich in knowledge and can give a lot of information to the new generation regarding Indian Culture, History and Values of life. At present the importance of Hindi Language has increased tremendously. There are various employment opportunities for a degree holder in Hindi such as jobs of Hindi Officer and Translator in Government Offices, Banks, and LIC etc. In today’s world of Globalization and Commercialization Hindi language has its own importance at International level.
Department of Hindi was started at general level with the inception of the college. The special courses were commenced in 2002. Two well qualified full time faculty members are working in the department. The faculty members are fully engaged in research work and actively participate in National and international seminars and conferences. Besides this they have completed Faculty induction program. Every year department organizes Hindi day on 14th September. On this occasion department conducts various activities such asEssay Writing, PoetryRecitation, Elocution, Poster Making/, Poster Presentation Competition .The Department offers a certificate Course in Human values and ethics since 2018-19. To motivate students towards Hindi language Department organizes a state level self-funded one day workshop on ‘Hindi Bhasha Me Rojgarke Avsar’dated 7thJanuary 2019.

- Develop Reading, Writing & Communication Skills of Students.
- Get information about the history of ancient, medieval and modern Hindi Literature.
- Learn the literary works on the basis of the foundation laid by the scholars.
- Get information about Literary Theory.
- Develop Approach of Hindi Linguistics & Grammar.
- Applications of Literature and Language concepts.
- The literary works on the basis of the foundation laid by the scholars.
- The basic need for strengthening the language capacity.
- The latest development of literary works in the world and within the country.
