About Marathi Department

                 The Department of Marathi was established in 2001. The Department offers 3 years Under-Graduate program. Undergraduate program affiliated to Pune University. The course creates highly skilled, adaptable graduates who are able to design Language Skill -based solutions to address information management and processing complications in industry, commerce, science, entertainment and the public sector. Fast growing language skill and communication systems have become critical components of almost every company's plan / Institution. Undergraduate program where students are exposed to various areas including the latest Language Concepts. The Departmental library with its prescribed books and E-Book helps students to update themselves with the recent trends in the Language, skill and Deployed and Professional Marathi

Aims & Objectives
  • To invoke the in Mothertoung interest among the students.
  • To avail the qualitative education in Marathi at UG level in rural areas.
  • To develop their interest appreciation of literature. Get information about the history of ancient, medieval and modern Marathi Literature.
  • To ensure the overall personality development of students through extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
  • To transfer the knowledge and skills for fulfillment of the changing needs of society in the process of modernization.
  • Students learn about practical and applied Marathi.
